My name is Charlott Neal, and I’m an acrylic painter and colored pencil artist based in Orlando, Florida. I specialize in creating bold, high-contrast paintings of animals using vibrant colors and limited palettes. My work often features accents of gold to give each piece a distinctive finish. I also create detailed pet portraits—mainly of dogs—using colored pencils to capture their unique personality and charm.

Originally born in Denmark, I moved to the UK as a teenager, where I studied Art and Design at South Kent College. Life took a different turn when I became a mother of three, and my art was set aside. It wasn’t until over 19 years later, when the world slowed down during the COVID pandemic, that I finally returned to my passion. I began with pencil sketches of people, moved into pet portraits, and eventually found the courage to start painting again.

More recently, I’ve expanded my portfolio to include expressive portrait paintings of people, including well-known figures like Marilyn Monroe and Bob Marley. I love using color to convey emotion and energy, and I find freedom in painting animals, where the rules of realism can be playfully bent.

Now living in Florida, I showcase my work in local galleries, coffee shops, and art shows around Orlando. Each painting is a step forward in my creative journey, helping me refine my style and grow as an artist. I’m excited to see where this path continues to lead.
