I’m Charlott Neal, an artist passionate about creating bold, vibrant, high-contrast artwork. My work focuses on expressive paintings of animals, black-and-white portraits of people, and colorful pet portraits crafted with colored pencils.

My artistic journey began with formal training in Art and Design at South Kent College in the UK. Although life as a mother led me to step away from art for a time, the global pandemic reignited my creative spark. What started as pencil sketches of people soon evolved into colorful pet portraits—and eventually gave me the courage to return to painting.

I work primarily with acrylic paints and colored pencils, often embracing a limited color palette to heighten contrast and drama in my pieces. I’m drawn to the magic of metallics, frequently incorporating gold acrylic paint for a striking touch, and I’ve experimented with glitter-infused acrylics to add unique depth and texture.

Currently, my artistic focus is centered on painting animals, allowing me the freedom to explore playful, unexpected color choices without being bound by realism. This freedom fuels my creativity and keeps each piece exciting and fresh.
